The Leadership Team
Independent Minds. Shared Conviction
Progress in financial AI demands people who can challenge assumptions—and one another.
The leadership team at Plazo Sullivan Roche Capital brings together perspectives across quantitative research, technology, business, and law. Our shared purpose is to turn complex market questions into disciplined research, practical tools, and thoughtfully engineered systems.
We lead with curiosity, test with rigor, and build with a clear understanding that innovation earns trust through evidence.

Our Story
How We Build
Most trading software fails quietly. Not on launch day, when the backtest glows and the equity curve climbs like a promise, but months later, in a market that no longer resembles the one the system learned from.
At Plazo Sullivan Roche Capital, we begin with that failure in mind.
Our approach to algorithmic trading software development rests on one discipline: a system must earn trust before it earns capital. Every model is tested against market regimes it has never seen. Every signal must be able to explain itself, because a strategy no one can question is a strategy no one can manage. We treat overfitting the way an engineer treats a hairline crack. It is not a cosmetic flaw. It is where collapse begins.
In AI trading system development, intelligence is no longer the scarce resource. Judgment is. Machine learning can detect regime shifts, map market structure and weigh probabilities faster than any human desk. It cannot decide which risks are worth taking. So we design systems that keep people in command where it matters most: position sizing, drawdown limits, and the decision to stand aside.
Our work draws on law, architecture, artificial intelligence and capital markets. Law taught us to cross-examine every assumption. Architecture taught us that structure, not decoration, decides what survives the storm.
The result is software built less to predict the future than to remain standing when it arrives.
