The HUD is a high-performance institutional-grade indicator designed to detect daily directional bias across major assets — including XAUUSD, NASDAQ, US30, XTIUSD, and FX Majors. It blends multi-timeframe confluence, liquidity analysis, and session-aware logic to provide precise directional cues during the New York session, the most volatile period of global trading.

Core Features

🕓 Session-Aware Bias

  • Automatically activates only during New York Regular Trading Hours (09:30 AM – 4:00 PM EST).

  • Filters out pre-market and post-market noise for cleaner, more actionable signals.

  • Status clearly displayed on-screen as ACTIVE or OUT within the HUD.

📈 Multi-Timeframe Confluence

  • Incorporates three institutional EMAs for structural confirmation:

    • H4 20 EMA – short-term momentum

    • H4 200 EMA – higher-timeframe trend anchor

    • Daily 50 EMA – macro directional filter

  • When aligned, these create a High-Probability Bias Zone (bullish or bearish agreement).

🧭 VWAP Consensus Filter

  • Tracks price position relative to VWAP or Anchored VWAP (NY Open).

  • Adds a real-time institutional bias — price above VWAP confirms strength; below VWAP signals weakness.

Liquidity Sweep Logic

  • Detects sweeps of previous day’s high (PDH) and previous day’s low (PDL).

  • Avoids false signals when market is in liquidity-grab mode (optional “avoid sweep” protection).

  • Allows confirmation of true breaks vs. fakeouts, a cornerstone of Smart Money Concepts (SMC).

🎯 Directional Signals

  • BUY triangles appear below bars when long bias aligns with session, VWAP, and HTF filters.

  • SELL triangles appear above bars during short bias alignment.

  • Alerts are automatically generated:

    • DBD_Long — Bias LONG

    • DBD_Short — Bias SHORT

📊 Compact HUD (Heads-Up Display)

  • Real-time bias dashboard displaying:

    • Session Status

    • HTF Bias (H4 & Daily)

    • VWAP Position

    • Final Directional Bias (LONG / SHORT / NEUTRAL)

  • Movable to any chart corner for clarity.

Best Usage Practices

🕒 Session Timing

  • Use primarily between 09:30 AM and 4:00 PM New York time.

  • Signals outside these hours are ignored to maintain institutional alignment.

🧩 Asset Recommendations

  • Designed for gold (XAUUSD), indices (US100, US30), and high-liquidity majors (EURUSD, GBPUSD).

  • Avoid use on illiquid or low-volatility pairs where VWAP and EMA signals degrade.

⚙️ Confluence-Based Entries

  • Enter trades only when all of the following agree:

    • Price aligned with HTF bias

    • VWAP confirmation

    • Sweep protection active (optional)

    • NY Session active

  • Use confirmation from your order block or fair value gap system for refinement.

🚨 Risk Management

  • Recommended SL: just beyond recent swing high/low or previous day’s range boundary.

  • Recommended TP: 2× risk or within key imbalance/FVG zones.

  • Combine with volume or CVD divergence for additional precision.

🧠 Pro Tip

Pair DBD with a liquidity heatmap or order flow tool — the directional bias filter will help you identify whether large-volume spikes represent absorption (reversals) or continuation moves.
